Fabric Care and Cleaning
Professional cleaning of the fabric, by a reputable cleaning organization is recommended.
If you decide to clean the fabric yourself, use a reputed brand of upholstery shampoo and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Never use soap, ammonia, bleach or other cleaners intended for the use on hard surfaces.
If something is spilled or dropped on the fabric, mop up any excess liquid with a white absorbent tissue or roller towel. Most spots will vanish if treated immediately and are not allowed to dry in. Some stains can be treated with dry cleaning fluid or upholstery shampoo. Never over wet the fabric. Always test on a small area of fabric on the underside of the chair for colour fading. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Always work inwards from the edge of the stain to prevent spreading. Use small amounts of cleaning fluid at a time, and blot between applications.
