Congratulations Tanya Sithole from Cecil Nurse Business Furniture, winner of our November iron cast pot competition! Tanya’s name was drawn on the 21st of January 2012. Tanya was very exited, and exclaimed that she never won anything before in her life. Tanya loves her new pots and she’s looking forward to cooking with them.

Fabric Care and Cleaning

Professional cleaning of the fabric, by a reputable cleaning organization is recommended.

If you decide to clean the fabric yourself, use a reputed brand of upholstery shampoo and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Never use soap, ammonia, bleach or other cleaners intended for the use on hard surfaces.

If something is spilled or dropped on the fabric, mop up any excess liquid with a white absorbent tissue or roller towel. Most spots will vanish if treated immediately and are not allowed to dry in. Some stains can be treated with dry cleaning fluid or upholstery shampoo. Never over wet the fabric. Always test on a small area of fabric on the underside of the chair for colour fading. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Always work inwards from the edge of the stain to prevent spreading. Use small amounts of cleaning fluid at a time, and blot between applications.

What is Rattan?

Our Polyethylene Rattan is made out of synthetic polyethylene resin fibers. The frame is welded powder coated aluminium tubes which make the rattan furniture strong, robust and sturdy yet very light to move around. The aluminium frame does not rust. Polyethylene rattan furniture is durable and makes excellent garden furniture which can be left outdoors during inclement weather.

Cleaning of Polyethylene Rattan is very easy, just wipe down with mild soapy water and rinse.
